Pro tip: Check a map of the mall so you can plan which stores you want to hit and then stick with your plan. There are so many great options it's easy to get sidetracked! Some of my favorites for gift-giving include Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Coach, J.Crew, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Vera Bradley. My little guy just comes along for the rides. ("It's not the mall, Mom, it's the rides store.")


Kate Spade was brimming with festive gifts and promotions! Everything was half-off in the store, plus a store employee was handing out a coupon card good for an additional 20% off your purchase. Think earrings, smartphone cases, wallets, keychains and cold-weather accessories for luxe yet affordable gifts she'll love.


The J.Crew outlet is my Shangri-La. So much goodness! Almost everything in the store was between 20-40% off the regular price. When shopping for myself, I hit the clearance racks. For great gifts, check out all the baskets and bins featuring holiday gifts like slippers, jewelry, even toys.


Hopefully no one from my family is reading this (hi, Mom) because I'm about to spill Santa's secrets! For my sister, I picked up genuine shearling slippers with a chic gold metallic finish and some funky socks. You can never go wrong with socks, especially when they have that make-you-smile factor from J.Crew!

For my mom, I bought two pairs of leather boots at the Clarks outlet. It's pretty much the only brand she can wear. Not only were the boots on sale, they were buy one get one half off!

For my sister-in-law, I snagged the coziest mint green infinity scarf and a geometric print ceramic tumbler with a mint-green lid. I think she'll appreciate the color coordination going on here while sipping her daily cup of jo.


For the guys...I got a gingham button-down shirt for my nephew that his parents will love, and a glow-in-the-dark squishy dinosaur that he'll appreciate, too! Cuteness overload.

My husband will probably be getting some Scotch or hard-to-find sour beer, and a supersoft J.Crew hoodie (on sale for $39.99). What can I say, the man loves his hoodies, and I love him in them. Aww.

My brother-in-law is a dog lover and preppy style aficionado so I'm convinced he'll love the flannel dog-print pajama bottoms I picked up for him.

Last but not least, brother-in-law number two will love the slim-fit flannel shirt I picked up for him. It's nice having guys to shop for who love J.Crew and dress well, isn't it?!
