Now Available: I Heart Ronson by Charlotte Ronson for JCPenney

I Heart Ronson by Charlotte Ronson for JCPenney

I Heart Ronson by Charlotte Ronson for JCPenney is now available in stores, and some of the styles are available online too. The collection includes tees, vests, blouses, jeans, leggings, a dress and a tunic, in what I like to call a playful neutral palette of grays, blues, petal pink, white and black. Prices range from $15 for a racerback tank to $58 for a floral dress.

I have high hopes for this collection, so I'll reserve judgment until I see it in person. The fact that they're so clearly targeting teens with their choice of models and sizing is a little discouraging, but isn't that always the case? We ::cough:: adults will have to put on our fashion goggles and look past the branding and just make these clothes work for us, too. Thanks to reader Alison Y. for the tip!

These are cute! I wasn't expecting much, but I might have to stop by the store and check it out sometime.

So you won't even check it out? I have to admit, I haven't shopped at Penney's in YEARS, but this collab is going to lure me in for sure!

I checked out the line today (see the mini-review on my blog) and was a bit disappointed. I did like the Army-inspired jacket, though, and I went home happy with my purchase. The one piece I'm most interested in wasn't in store - the floral jumpsuit. Has anyone seen it?

I went to the store to check out this line last week. I had high hopes from the pictures but in person I was very disappointed. Everything seemed blah, nothing exciting about the design. I tried on several pieces and the fit wasn't great. They were either cut too big for me (I'm very slim) or did not compliment my body shape. The only piece I sort of liked and fit me was the green army jacket but for a price tag of about $60, I passed.... Too bad!
