The Look for Less: Alice + Olivia Rolled Sleeve Blazer

Alice + Olivia at ShopStyle

This Alice + Olivia Cotton Sateen Rolled Sleeve Blazer has been spotted on such trendsetters as Lauren Conrad and Olivia Palermo (see our earlier post where we featured Lauren's entire look-for-less here). It has all the hallmarks of a timeless wardrobe essential, one that can be worn infinite ways, which makes the out-of-reach $385 pricetag that much more gut wrenching...

But wait! Wipe that tear away, because here's a blazer that's just as stylish (ok, almost as stylish!), with a price that's easy to stomach: Aqua's Black Boyfriend Jacket with Striped Lining is a very manageable $88 at Bloomingdales.com. Note the fab striped lining that peeks out when you roll the cuffs. Perfection!

HEy BB -
Love the blog - I am an official addict
I wanted to say that I have never been a blazer person - I have tried and tried but never worked - I am loving the new trend but hate to invest too much dough in a trend that I may not end up loving - I found a boyfriend blazer on sale through JCPenney - the a.n.a. brand boyfriend blazer is on sale for $24.99 plus there is a code MOMSGR8 (I think that is right for $10 off no minimum purchase) So that makes it $14. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. I hope it works - it looks a little shorter then the Bloomies one so I am not sure it I will like it. I'll let you know.

I know exactly which blazer you're talking about and I think it's a great alternative! JCPenney has a great blazer in their Allen B. collection, too, I featured it here:

I'm Dutch so maybe my shops show a different collection, but the Zara over here has a great blazer resembling the one on Lauren!

Nice! I just looked down at my work outfit of black blazer and floral skirt...then immediately turned up the cuffs of my sleeves. Turning it up a notch. Thanks!!
