Pull up one side of the hair and hold with this lovely accessory. With a maxi dress or skirt.
#2 Patricia on 2009-07-07 17:11
I would wear it with my wedding dress. I've been wanting to do something a little art nouveau and I think this pop of color in my hair (maybe with a short veil) would be perfect!!!
#3 Tina (Homepage) on 2009-07-07 17:21
I'd wear it with a LBD and gold, strappy sandals!
#4 Erica on 2009-07-07 17:25
I just bought a very feminine white summer dress. I've been looking for the perfect headpiece to wear a la Blair Waldorf lol and this is it!
#5 Modaholica (Homepage) on 2009-07-07 17:31
I would wear this piece with a black cocktail dress, some flashy gold heals, and a black and gold purse I just thrifted. I'm getting excited just thinking about it!

with something simple, maybe a black and white outfit, so it stands out.
#7 Connie on 2009-07-07 18:10
I have very long, thick hair that I usually keep up in the summertime. I'd probably straighten it and tuck this accessory into the side of a long, sleek ponytail.
#8 Mairead on 2009-07-07 18:33
BB,

I need help! When I was reading this, your linked in box showed this:

http://www.thebudgetbabe.com/archives/819-Deal-du-Jour-For-Love-21-Caron-Handbag.html

which is of course, a beautiful bag that they don't sell anymore

any luck helping me find something similar?

I love classically beautiful leather-like bags.
#9 Catherine on 2009-07-07 18:49
how bout one of these:

i'm realizing Link Within will take users waay back to some truly vintage posts, so i need to figure out if that's a good thing or a bad thing...but it's a cool widget, no? :-)
#9.1 The Budget Babe on 2009-07-07 19:46
I'd totally try it with a basic black dress, and gold accessories to match. peacock tone make-up!
#10 Justine Urbikas on 2009-07-07 19:10
I would wear that everywhere! I love peacock feathers!
#11 Chrissy on 2009-07-07 19:56
This would be the perfect accessory for a white party I'm going to in August...a little splash of colour is a huge must!!
#12 Jaklyn on 2009-07-07 20:46
Wow, great piece! I must say this would be out of my comfort zone but I am at the age and stage where I am trying to take more fashion risks. I would wear it with so many outfits but the one that stands out to me right now is a flirty mini, strappy heels, and a cute top. My husband would go crazy!
#13 Ginger on 2009-07-07 21:17
I would twist my hair back 40's style and wear a knee-length skirt, a flirty black blouse, and sensible pumps.
#14 Mindy on 2009-07-07 21:45
I was married in a vintage black velvet skirt I found at a thrift store. I so see this gorgeous piece with the skirt, heels and an elegant blouse!
#15 Roxanne on 2009-07-07 21:49
i would wear it with a silky white dress with kimono sleeves and silver dorsay pumps!
#16 Wendy on 2009-07-07 21:52
I'd wear it with a monochromatic outfit like a solid black romper and use this headpiece and a pair of colored flats or heels for a pop of color.
#17 J on 2009-07-07 21:52
i would wear it with a silky white dress with kimono sleeves and silver dorsay pumps
#18 Wendy on 2009-07-07 21:54
Black cocktail dress and Transparenze Cosette tights and kitten heels. :-)
#19 Stacy Z on 2009-07-07 22:28
I'd wear this pretty hair accessory with some vintage-inspired clothing, maybe a black / creme / green vintage dress or a paisley print dress with gold clutch.
#20 Yuri (Homepage) on 2009-07-07 23:23
Well, I'm a vintage dancer, actually, so I'd wear it with period-appropriate ballroom dancing attire. :-) In fact, I was planning to make myself something quite similar...
#21 Sandra on 2009-07-08 00:30
I would wear this with braided hair and a royal blue dress with interesting back cutouts I bought a while back but haven't worn, and gold flats! For makeup, I would go with an easy cat eye and nude lipgloss! =]
#22 Wendy on 2009-07-08 00:41
I would wear this with a vintage glam look. Pin up style hair with this on the side with a pencil dress form the Victoria Beckham collection and some black pumps.
#23 Amy on 2009-07-08 01:19
I would wear this with something simple and casual like boyfriend jeans and a simple t shirt. The peacock feathers would be enough of a statement to stand out on it's own and make the look a little more dressy and feminine.
#24 Ida on 2009-07-08 02:15
I would wear this piece with a silky emerald green 421 dress that is crocheted around the neckline and then pair it with my gold crocodile-imprinted nine west heels.
#25 Anne on 2009-07-08 07:50
Forget the little black dresses! I would wear this with EVERYTHING! It's gorgeous.
#26 Maria on 2009-07-08 08:44
i would totally somehow work this onto a chain and wear it as a necklace. with a simple fitted white tee and trouser jeans. but i think this piece can be worn either up or down. very cute!
#27 anh (Homepage) on 2009-07-08 09:06
Upcoming ballroom dance competition. Peacock feathers in SAMBA, baby.
#28 Jessica Smith on 2009-07-08 10:16
I am a hair accessories addict! I love this. I would wear it with a fitted black vneck tee, jeans, and gold heels.
#29 Cherie on 2009-07-08 10:21
red tank, long white skirt, simple bangles and my espadrilles. i think since the accessory is dark the rest of my outfit should be bright
#30 julia on 2009-07-08 11:56
This is the perfect addition to my work LBD and black heels. Just a pop of color!!
#31 Jordan on 2009-07-08 12:12
Are you kidding? I would wear this every day and make it my signature piece. It's so classy and fabulous!
#32 Valerie (Homepage) on 2009-07-08 13:25
I would wear this fascinator in my hair for my friend's wedding on Halloween this year! The dress is long and deep plum with a plunging, pretty neckline. I'd wear my dark blonde hair mermaid-wavy and pulled back on one side with the feather on that side ... or curled in a half-up flipped pony and place the feather at the elastic holding my hair. (BTW, my cellphone ringtone is a peacock call!)
#33 Stephani on 2009-07-08 13:57
flowy white top with dark skinny or shorts ..love it!
#34 nonie on 2009-07-08 15:27
I would wear this fascinator at every possibly opportunity. Not only would it go with a white shirt and jean combination but it could go with my sari, a little black dress, a nice pencil skirt/blouse combination. Hell, its nice enough that I would wear it around the house in my sweats after a hard day as a pick me up.
#35 Jennifer on 2009-07-08 15:34
I would convert this to become a brooch and wear it on a cardigan for some visual interest.

Oooh, I hope I win!!
#36 Jo from Canada on 2009-07-08 15:39
...to clip up one side of my medium length asymmetrical hair cut while wearing a navy strapless peasant dress.

#38.1 The Budget Babe on 2009-07-09 09:05
I think i'd wear it with a slinky tank and tights. Something really simple so that the focus is on the fascinator. So chic!
#39 Kitty on 2009-07-09 11:17
I'd twist my hair in a chignon or french twist and pin the peacock pin to the side. Then I'd wear a teal colored tank with a high waist full black knee-length skirt over it. Gold bangles and black flats.
#40 Catherine on 2009-07-09 13:16
I would wear a black scarf over my hair and then put the pin on the side. The scarf would cover my wavy hair and leave a nice canvas for the peacock pin to shine. A black sheath and teal, green or black pumps would be nice additions.
#40.1 Gigi (Homepage) on 2009-07-09 16:02
i would wear this with just a tshirt and jeans!
#41 giselle on 2009-07-09 20:50
I'd wear it with a flowy white tee shirt, swooping my bangs back!
#42 Mariam (Homepage) on 2009-07-09 23:19
I would wear this with a classy black dress, minimal gold jewelry and heels to a nice dinner.
#43 Leslie (Homepage) on 2009-07-10 00:54
I actually would wear it with vintage cardigan clips and a emerald green cardigan. I would put it on the sweater itself not in my hair and then id wear thick black rimmed glasses a black tee high waisted bootleg jeans and some keds.. for some cute vintage flair.. :-) ooh don't forget the pin curls
#44 kaitlin burns (Homepage) on 2009-07-10 14:49
I would wear it in my hair on one side with the rest of my hair tucked back behind my ear. I would then wear an electric blue tank top with a black trench coat that reaches to the tops of my thighs and is left open. Then, I would wear a pair of dark indigo wash jeans, followed up by black suede moccasin boots.
#45 Jodie on 2009-07-10 23:45
I would wear it to work, tucked behind one ear. :-)
#46 Trang on 2009-07-11 01:40
I love peacock feathers! I'd wear it w/my bright blue dress for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Tucked up above my right ear, hair in loose curls- great statement piece and perfect for pictures. Would add some fun to honeymoon outfits too!
#47 lauren on 2009-07-11 12:02
With my joe's skinny jeans, grey v-neck t-shirt and black flats.
#48 Nikki on 2009-07-11 23:50
I would wear this with my vintage Yves St. Laurent dress.
#49 Sandra A on 2009-07-12 02:15
I just got bangs for the first time (well there was one time when i was 8 and tried to chop my own.... needless to say I was practically bald up front).
So I would wear this with my new bangs in order to highlight my new style.
#50 Lynn on 2009-07-12 14:16
i would wear this clip with so many things, a little black dress, a light sheeth dress, shorts and a silk blouse, it's gorgeous :]
#51 molly on 2009-07-12 21:59
I would keep it simple because its already busy and wear a cute sexy black tank top with some jean capris and high heeled sandals. My hair pulled back in a side ponytail with the peacock fascinator as a hair accessory.
#52 Teresa Simmons on 2009-07-13 20:41
Okay, I admit it, I'm a HUGE fan of the pouf. :-) I pull it out for all occasions, and I'd definitely pull my hair up into one if I had this accessory to accent it. It's easy, looks put together, and my new boss (who makes us read magazines like People Style Watch and Lucky to keep up with the latest fashions) would be thrilled to see me wearing such a trend to work! Thanks for the chance to win, BB!
#53 Katie (Homepage) on 2009-07-14 10:02
Dress it up in a little black dress or with a black top and jeans. Either way it would pop.
