BB, you've read my mind once again. on a gloomy rainy day i needed to jazz up my life today so i did my nails a bright red. yay red!
bandolino has some really cute red patent flats on sale, and also some nice red patent open toe heels. they've got a decent variety of shoes on sale from 19.99 to 49.99.
also, lord & taylor has some jessica simpson metallic red ballet flats (not on sale - sorry) that will brighten up any outfit.

Red looks great on all women, and in our books, it never goes out of style. It's so easy to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe too! We think you'll find those red nails will match just about everything...some of our fave color combos are red/pink, red/orange, and red/purple (that's why we loved the ribbon on the dress above--although you could just as easily create a new look with a black patent belt, or metallic chain link belt....lots of possibilities!) Go red :-)

red and purple has always been a favorite combination of mine too!

i even have red and purple flowers next to each other in my garden. got the idea from a flower bouquet i once saw with irises, red carnations, and yellow lillies. gorgeous!

You bring up a good point, and that is fashion inspiration--it can truly come from anywhere if you're observant and imaginative. Nature is certainly at the top of the inspiration food chain.

Fabulous! I love red too! This summer I sported a red straw floppy hat, and I couldn't go anywhere without people stopping me to say how cute I, and my hat, were! Red is bold and yet timeless! Loves it!
