Off the Rack: Bomber Jackets at Target

After seeing a cute bomber jacket in a couple magazine/TV ads for Target, I decided to track one down at my local store. The toffee-colored bomber by Xhiliration ($30) was admittedly the best of the bunch—I decided not to buy it, but I'd wear it. However, the Mossimo faux-leather moto jackets were all unintentionally creased and plastic-looking. Anyone care to disagree? Did the faux leather jackets look better at your store?

Elsewhere in the accessories department, I spotted an adorable saddle bag that looked convincingly vintage, the type of thing you dream of finding at your local thrift store but never do (at least I never have.)

I just got back from my beloved Target on my lunch hour, and lingered over the jacket in the top two pictures. Very cute, but my store didn't have the toffee colored one. I saw the motos and they weren't creased at all, like it shows in your pictures. But I agree, the leather shiny and cheap-looking and I didn't even try one on. I was looking specifically at the gray because I already have a black one.

My store had all four colors of the $39.99 military-style wool jacket and I loved them, will be buying the gray one as soon as they go on sale.

I got the grey moto jacket and loved it. The ones in my store weren't wrinkly at all. I thought it was perfect! I think for a trendy type of jacket, you can get away with a cheaper looking material, in my opinion :-)

That gray moto is so tempting ... but I've never been impressed with Target's leathers. Faux or real.

I've seen these a couple of times in the store and absolutely love the cut/looks of the jackets, but can't get past the cheap-ish look of them. I may change my mind though!

I saw the moto jacket at Target. It looked so cheap, I had to hold it up and make fun of it to my friend. Those bombers are cute tho!

Something about the stitching in the jacket makes me not like the first two...however..I was in walmart this past week and I couldnt believe that I actually really liked the max azria/miley cyrus faux bomber, and it was only like 20 bucks. I didnt buy it because I already own an also affordable BB dakota one... but I would recommend it to people.

i checked out the bomber jackets and i wasn't completely impressed by them. they look nice in picture but up close, it's totally different. don't get me wrong, the price isn't all that bad for what you're paying for. i guess it's more of just a personal preference. by the way, who makes that cute bag?? did your target sell it in different colors??

I believe the bag was by Merona and it also came in a deep purple. Looked really nice in person.
