Revlon Limited Edition Lash Jewels

Revlon's new Lash Jewels top The Budget Beauty Babe's list of "Things that make you go 'Hmmm'..." —BB

Every once in a while, the makeup people release a product that is just completely impractical for anyone not working on the set of a movie. This is one such product. Don't get me wrong, it's an interested concept, however, because I am not planning on dressing up like a dew covered fairy anytime soon, I find it to be impractical and slightly bizarre.

Revlon has come out with a product called Lash Jewels Eye Accents. This tube of clear, slightly tinted goo is meant to be used to create "jewels" (read: droplets) of liquid on the tips of eyelashes. The promo picture is absolutely fantastic, and if they actually looked like that I would be dripping goo onto my lashes daily—but it doesn't, and I'm not.

The best way I can describe this is saying its like getting eye boogies on your lashes and leaving them there for someone else to point out to you and then responding with, "I know, don't they catch the light beautifully?" (cue other person walking away slowly.) The day I tried them out my boyfriend asked if I had been crying, and my mother kept trying to get them off thinking they were pieces of precariously perched lint waiting to fall into my eye and blind me.

Cool concept, really bad translation to real life. I don't recommend them - unless of course, you are a dew-covered fairy.

Jovovich-Hawk for Target Review

Jovovich-Hawk for Target landed in stores yesterday, and yours truly was there to check it out. We were greeted by breezy tops, flirty dresses and hip swimwear that made us ache for warm weather that much more. Cool, feminine, and most of all, sexy. FYI: The pics on Target's website don't do this collection justice. Sure, some of it fit a little snug (a jacquard wrap-dress didn't fit at all, couldn't keep the girls covered) and a lot of it was strictly stuff you'd wear on the beach (please don't wear a cover-up downtown), but overall, this is definitely one hot collection you'll want to hit before taking that Spring break vacation (my bootie isn't going anywhere so send me a postcard!). Keep scrolling to see some of our favorites - and tell us what you think of the collection in the comments!

Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?
