What Happened to For Love 21?

Does anyone know what happened to For Love 21, the dedicated accessories boutique that Forever 21 launched back in June 2008? Over the holiday season, For Love 21 seemed to be replaced by a gift guide on Forever21.com, but now, it looks like that branding convention is completely gone.

I know many of the larger brick and mortar stores still have exclusive accessory departments, but I'm curious to know why the company opted to eliminate this branding on the web. It was cool, right? Anywho the goods are still there (jewelry, gifts, some makeup, handbags, etc.) but For Love 21 seems to be forgone. I emailed their customer service with this ever-so-pressing inquiry, so perhaps I will get a response.

In other news, Forever 21 announced on its website that it will be launching Shibuya Mon Amour, a boutique line designed exclusively for the fast-fashion giant. I hope it will have all of the designer look-alike goodness of their other stuff, with none of the guilt! Can't. Wait.

Marshall's Cube Disappoints

Marshall's The Cube

For months I waited for the Marshall's near my house to open up one of their hyped-up Cubes, an in-store boutique that's supposed to feature the latest styles for teens and misses. But then I actually went to one in Boston, and two in Chicago, and well, they're not that great. If you don't have one near you, you're not missing out.
