The Look for Less: Pour La Victoire "Pascale" Heels

Pour La Victoire at ShopStyle

Here's a shoe that takes the gladiator trend that's been popular since forever, and blends it with the huarache sandal trend that's hot for spring/summer 2009. It's the eye-catching "Pascale" High Heel Huarache Sandals by Pour La Victoire, and it'll cost you $318 at Bloomingdales.com.

To get the look for less (although still not cheap), check out the Chinese Laundry "Bounty." Get it in black, camel or brown at Zappos.com for $128.95.

The Look for Less: Pour La Victoire Naomi Lace Up Sandal

Free People at ShopStyle

These Naomi Lace-Up Sandals by Pour La Victoire epitomize what's hot in footwear for the summer. Made with genuine boa snakeskin (a fact that saddens me, even though I'm guilty of wearing leather all the time), these gladiator style sandals come in either black or silver for $100 to $168 at FreePeople.com.

These Mossimo Philomena Lace-Up Flat Sandals will give you a similar look for less (and you won't have to fuss with any ankle straps). Snap them up for $24.99 at Target.com. Deal: $5 Off Purchases of $50 or More • Enter Code TCWMNPT7 at Checkout • Ends 5/2

Forever 21 at ShopStyle

Finally, you can tap into this trend with Forever 21's Cocktail Gladiator Sandals (where do they come up with these names??), just $22.80.

I'm a fan of all three but I'd have to try them on to see how they'd make my legs look (could get "stumpy" with all those straps). Would you wear this style sandal?

The Look for Less: Yves Saint Laurent Necklace

Yves Saint Laurent at ShopStyle

This Yves Saint Laurent Glass Pearl necklace available at at Net-a-porter.com would make a dramatic statement paired with a strapless gown. Then again, your credit card statement would create just as much drama once you saw the $1,495 charge at the end of the month.

Forever 21 at ShopStyle

While this Midnight Beaded Necklace available at Forever21.com lacks the charm of the velvet ribbon tie which graces the designer piece, it's a chic substitute costing a mere $12.80. (Click any image for details.)

Anna Sheffield Jewelry Line Coming to Target

Examples of jewelry from the Bing Bang jewelry collection

Jewelry designer Anna Sheffield is partnering with Target to create a limited-time-only collection this fall. The Anna Sheffield for Target capsule collection marks the fifth jewelry launch for the budget-friendly retailer, and will be available in stores and online August 30 through December 30.

You may recognize Sheffield as the name behind Bing Bang, a high-end jewelry line that's a favorite among celebs. To give you an idea of Bing Bang's design aesthetic, that's some of their stuff above (NOT part of the Target line).

You may also recall that Bing Bang partnered with Urban Outfitters on a lower-priced line called Bee 23 last fall (which I totally missed, but I'm hoping Target's will be better).

Are you looking forward to The Anna Sheffield for Target collection?
