Here's a fantastic product that works well and looks great: Super Volume Mascara by Fresh Minerals. First off, this mascara just looks super cool. It comes in a sleek metallic tapered tube that has a great feel to it. It will definitely make any makeup bag a little prettier. The mascara itself also is fantastic. It goes on well and has amazing, no-clump abilities. My lashes looked like they were scared to go near each other, it separated them so well! Beautiful rich color, easy to get off (yet didn't smudge)—a definite pick-up.

New Designer Sample Site: Row Nine

There's a new designer sample site in beta called RowNine.com. It's an invitation-only private sale where you can save 30-80% off the finest luxury brands. (Translation: It's VERY expensive!!) But, you never know what sales might crop or when you might get lucky. I signed up but haven't purchased anything yet. Let me know if you've shopped with them before…

As a special incentive to Budget Babe readers, Row Nine has offered to give anyone who joins using this invite link a $15 credit to use towards any future purchase on their site. This offer is only good now through Sunday, November 1, so join today—and spread the love: You will earn a $50 credit for each of your friends after their first purchase on RowNine.

Off the Rack: Faux Fur Shrugs at Target

Faux fur can go horribly wrong whether it's done on a champagne or beer budget. Target has attempted to bring this top fall trend into focus with an assortment of faux fur shrugs. I think they succeeded with the cat print shrug ($39.99) and the brown/black minx ($39.99), but failed miserably with the gray-tipped mystery-animal (a Yeti perhaps?). I love faux fur and don't want to dismiss this collection entirely as I think it depends on what else you wear and how you wear it. Fashion Toast could probably make any of these shrugs look stellar. I, on the other hand, would probably look silly. Anyone feeling the faux-fur at Target?
