Like Cinderella's glass slipper or Dorothy's ruby red shoes, these sparkly Louboutins look plucked from the pages of a fashion fairytale. What girl wouldn't feel transformed with these beauties on her feet?

Frankly I'm surprised I haven't featured them before. I blogged about the slingback version (here), but never the platform peep-toe.

While I'm not a fairy godmother, I found a few options that will give you a similar look for a lot less. My favorite has to be these "Klarence" heels by Rachel Rachel Roy ($99, macys.com). The 4 inch heel and platform gives these a super chic silhouette.

Christian Louboutin's "Bibi" suede platform pumps are $795 at net-a-porter.com. Now this is a stunning shoe, staggeringly high, yes, but also elegant and sculptural.



I think the BCBGeneration "Jodie" does a stellar job of capturing the essence of the Louboutins without the extreme pricetag. Available in rouge (my favorite), barley or black for $89 at piperlime.com.

Miu Miu's patent Mary Jane loafer platform pumps are now $552 at bluefly.com.

I've been browsing the web for boots similar to these "Paradise" wedge booties by Ash ($290, shopbop.com). I love these and if you can find a cheaper alternative with your internet superpowers I will be extremely grateful! —E

Gosh these are great, it's the Western boot gone wedge! I love the Ash boot's sleek profile and covered heel, but it's a silhouette that's hard to imitate. However I did find a few options that might work for you.

First up, from Nine West we have the "Peekaboo" ($129, piperlime.com). In genuine leather with a slightly less pointy toe, it's a respectable look for less.
