10 under $30 Target Holiday Decor

Holiday decor finds under $30

Haven’t started decorating for the holidays yet? Don’t worry, I’m not judging. My halls are usually decked with holiday decor this time of year, but I’m way behind schedule. The downside is that I still have fall pumpkins lined up by our front door. The upside of delaying? I’ve actually had more time to scope out some festive pieces to add to my holiday collection. If you’re just getting started, like me, then hit up Target for everything. This is not a sponsored post, just trust me that they have holiday decor covered. From pillows to decorative objects to miniature Christmas trees to faux fur throws, Target is a blessing for the holiday decorator on a budget. Did I mention a majority of the decor is under $30?!

Here are my favorite picks under $30:

The Look for Less: Jenny Lind Nightstand

The Jenny Lind nightstand in white is $199 at Land of Nod (landofnod.com).

Get the look for less with this Circo nightstand, just $63.99 on sale at Target stores (possibly available on target.com but I wasn't able to find it):

Here's how the Jenny Lind nightstand looks in a room to give you a better idea of how it can be styled (it's shown in a kid's room but I think it could work for a grown-up space, too! Obsessed.):

Beauty Splurge vs. Steal of the Week: Shaveworks Luxurious Shave Cream

Splurge vs Steal Beauty

In this weekly column, I’m bringing you my favorite budget-friendly beauty products that are available online and in-store. Also make sure to check out my blog, HonestlyJamie.com for even more beauty product reviews, advice and tips.

Shaveworks Pearl Souffle Luxurious Shave Cream is, by definition, shaving cream luxury. For one, a portion of the proceeds is donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society but, aside from the charity component, this product is fabulous. It has ingredients that help minimize the appearance of hair growth, glycolic acid to exfoliate and reduce ingrown hairs (especially awesome for the bikini area) and, lastly, it moisturizes your skin for the perfect shave. The downside? It’s $22, and that is A LOT for shaving cream…even with the awesome benefits.

A nice, and affordable ($5.50!), alternative is the Alba Botanica Very Emollient Cream Shave in Mango Vanilla. Sure, it doesn’t have the hair-minimizing ingredients or glycolic acid for exfoliation but it DOES smell amazing. It’s also packed with aloe vera, lavender and vitamin E – all good-for-your-skin ingredients that result in an effortless shave.

Holidays with H&M: My Party Look Under $100 and Gift Picks Under $9.95!

Happy Holidays with H&M
Sponsored

This holiday season, I've teamed up with H&M to showcase some of their amazing holiday fashions and gift ideas. First, they challenged me to put together a holiday party look under $100. I knew right away that I wanted to recreate this Taylor Swift look which I had featured previously in a Dress by Number post, so I headed to my nearest H&M store to see what I could find. It was ridiculously easy to get a complete head-to-toe look under $100 that mirrored Taylor's going-out outfit: Black knit sweater (similar), faux leather circle skirt (similar), lacy tights (similar), Chelsea boots, and a structured cross-body bag (similar)! I had money left over to buy this chevron iPhone case (your phone's gotta get dressed up, too). Yes, it's an all black look, but since I don't ordinarily wear that much black, it's a sophisticated change of pace for me. Plus I can remix the pieces in so many ways. I like that it's comfortable, too, because all my holiday parties will involve my toddler as well!

Tip: Through H&M's garment recycling program, I donated a plastic shopping bag of old clothes at checkout and received a 15% off coupon which I applied towards the entire purchase.
