Converse One Star Spring 2010 Lookbook

Converse One Star Spring 2010 Lookbook

Target released images of its Converse One Star Spring 2010 collection featuring "all-American sportswear with a youthful spirit and artistic edge." Looks like they took a little inspiration from British model Agyness Deyn for the styling. Nothing too groundbreaking but definitely a very wearable, laid-back collection of cool basics under $40, perfect for summer! Check the Target pressroom for prices and availability.

"For women, the collection incorporates touches of boho feminine chic and downtown edge seen through urban micro-floral prints splashed across tanks, blouses and easy dresses with raw edge and pin tuck detailing. Chambray shirred dresses and woven shirts worn with ivory underpinnings complete the essential casual cool look, while stylish plaid shirt dresses and tunics are stand-alone style statements. This season, the classic sport shirt is updated with back-tie detailing to cinch in the waist for a more slim fit. Spring calls for endless swimwear possibilities with bikinis and one-pieces in plaid and bright stripe options. Dip-dye cotton tunics and cozy heather fleece hoodies and pants take women from the beach to the street with ease."

Love Agyness, but she looks more at home with lively, "punky-funky" fashion. This collection is a bit subdued for her.

Aggie is not the model in this campaign, I was just suggesting that Target drew inspiration from her "iconic" look to style this campaign (same hair, similar expressions on the model, etc.) Sorry for the confusion!

I love those bags they're rocking. I hope those are in the collection!

Yes the bags are part of the collection!! I have my eye on the black studded bag in the second to last photo. Yum.

I don't usually do too well with collections at Target; the hem lines are usually too high for me. This one looks like it may offer a little more coverage. Gives me a happy!

Not a big fan of this collection. It looks like stuff you can get pretty much anywhere.
