Off the Rack: Miss Trish of Capri for Target Spring Styles

World-traveling designer Trish Carroll offers jewel-encrusted sandals inspired by the sea and sand at down-to-earth prices

During my last trip to Target's shoe department, I was surprised to find four new sandal styles by Miss Trish of Capri, including a coral t-strap flat, flower-and-bee flip-flop, starfish toe-ring flat and seahorse t-strap flat. There's also an adorable lizard ankle-strap flip-flop which you can see online (my store didn't have them in stock). Each whimsical pair is just $24.99 yet looks super luxe and bougie, the sand-and-sea motifs conjuring up images of uppity beachcombers wearing Lilly Pulitzer in Nantucket. You will either love them or leave them depending on your personal style. If Miss Trish of Capri speaks to you, scoop up a pair as the prices simply can't be beat! More pics after the jump…

I tried the white with the starfish last week and LOVED them, but I really just don't see them meshing well with my wardrobe so I passed. The quality is much better than I expect from a Target shoe, and I think they're much cuter than the CV shoes! They fit TTS for me.

scratch that, I tried on the white with the seahorse. I'm getting my sea creatures mixed up.

I got the black ones. They are so cute and definitely look like they cost more than what they did.

I got the flowered (looks like it could easily be Lilly Pulitzer)and the seahorses. Love them and can't wait to wear them!!

I love these types of sandals, but wish that even the inexpensive lines would consider doing two widths. At its smallest, the sole looks like it's maybe three inches across?! I don't think any part of my foot is less than three inches across, and I wear 'normal size' shoes. I honestly think that the extended/'wide' size would still sell out!

I agree that they should throw a "wide" shoe out there. I can wear normal shoes but with little bitty soles like this I would like a bigger width. So cute though, I really need to get to Target to check these cuties out!

It's so hard to wear thong shoes without thinking my toes are ugly, lol.

I like the black pair the best! The others are pretty but very Lilly Pulitzer preppy :-)

i look at those and think OUCH! don't the edges of those thin straps and all the stitching rub and cut into your skin?

I bought the seahorse one! It is really nice quality for the money.

Amanda, I feel you on that one. I went to Target today, and tried on the cute white starfish one, along with a pair of brown thongs w/ a gold snake the center strap (wished I took a picture of it because it was pretty), and thought my feet & toes look ugly in them so I passed on buying them :-(

Time for a pro pedicure if I really want to buy & wear these out in public, LOL!
