Last night I was invited to the Nine West showroom in New York City for a Q&A session with singer Joss Stone, who has collaborated with the brand to create a limited-edition collection of two shoe styles for Nine West's Vintage America Collection Fall 2010 line.
Working with creative director Fred Allard, Stone designed a lace-up ankle boot and an over-the-knee boot that embody her bohemian spirit and incorporate details inspired by her personal tattoos.
I was already a fan of Stone's music and knew she was ridiculously talented, but after meeting her in person I think I have a girl crush. She's unbelievably sweet, humble and seemed genuinely interested in the whole design process (it's all art, she said).

Joss has a couple tattoos which incorporate flower motifs, something she said she just loves and knows she will still love 50 years from now. Love her colorful pedi, too.
