Olsenboye by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for JCPenney Fall 2010 Lookbook

Olsenboye by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for JCPenney Fall 2010 Lookbook

Just in time for back to school, here's the Olsenboye for JCPenney fall 2010 lookbook, featuring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's affordable line of tops, skirts, dresses, jackets, denim, shoes, & accessories available now through October. This season, the designing sisters got their inspiration from the city of London, expressed through not-so-subtle Union Jack motifs, graffiti tees, grungy plaid and rocker studs. At first glance I can't say I was impressed but this juniors line definitely has its thoughtful moments. The styles are classy and cute with just a hint of teenage rebellion. I like the tweed jacket ($29.99) paired with a graffiti tee ($14.99), ponte blazer ($29.99) and plaid bag. Any takers?

Love the Olsens, but I will not be purchasing any of these items...

Reminds me of the Miley Cyrus line for Wal-Mart (not a particularly good thing). I like the ponte blazer, but something seems kind of off about it. Maybe I am just too old for this collection.

What kind of hat is the model wearing? I know it's not part of the line, but I really like it. It's like a top hat with a wider crown or a shorter brim, right? What would that style be called?

I think it's a bowler hat :-)

I think it's cute for middle school aged girls. I really do, because it's trendy but not in an "older" kind of way. If I had a 13 year old sister, I would buy her some of these pieces.

I am twenty years old. These clothing items look like they were made for either Middle School or High School students. I will not be heading to JCP.

I agree!! The only thing I want is the tweed jacket because it looks like Chanel and age appropriate as well.

I bought the blazer, actually for my study abroad semester in London. I like it, it's super comfy and actually well made. I got the black blazer though, not gray like the one in the picture, and the fabric on the inside of the cuffs is a much more subtle gray rather than red. After a coupon I got it for $20, so the price was right.

I like the look of picture 3, but their clothes might be too cutesy for me. A piece or two out of this collection would be nice if you piece it right.

As always, a great exclusive look into what's hot for fall! Keep it up, Dianna! :-)
