Spot the Real: Proenza Schouler PS1 Satchel

Handbag aficionados should have no trouble spotting the Proenza Schouler PS1 satchel from the two options below (it's $1,595 at net-a-porter.com, in case you're interested). The other bag is made of humble PVC but I think it's a great option for work or school at just $36.90. Fake it til you make it, baby.

I think the PVC bag looks more like the Mulberry Alexa than the PS1 because of the buckles on the front and the turn lock, but anyway, it is quite a steal! :-) (I have to admit I've been verrrrry tempted to buy the PS1 on more than one occasion but was reminded of my mortgage payment each time ;-)

Ahhhh you are right, I stand corrected!! Here's another look-for-less option for the Mulberry Alexa in real leather that you might be able to afford in conjunction with your mortgage:

I obviously have very expensive taste because I have picked the designer one every time.

Oh you can just tell the difference in quality in the pictures! However, the cheaper version is lovely in chestnut.
