Rebecca Minkoff's Spring 2011 collection presentation drew an impressive crowd at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It seemed like everyone in attendance was carrying a Minkoff bag, which just speaks to her popularity and ability to deliver luxe-looking accessories at prices that are within reach. The clothes were chic, versatile and wearable, from red cocktail dresses to fitted leather jackets, but what really caught my eye were the handbags and the shoes, like the perfect contrast-trim satchel and some killer tan heels with black banded straps. I'll take one of each, please!

Here are the show notes:
"Rebecca Minkoff's Spring 2011 collection pays homage to the ultimate femme vagabond - a woman yearning for glamour, transfixed by reconstructed vintage and '70s-inspired frocks that include traces of seductress Bianca Jagger and the late, soulful Janis Joplin.
The heart of the collection contrasts exotic textures including silk, linen, gauze and pearlized leather with edgy metal chain detailing giving depth to this free spirited girl. The looks emphasize versatile fabrics, draped feminine silhouettes and delicate embroidery, adding layers of sophistication to this juxtaposed bohemian glam as she travels the county from coast-to-coast in search of the most liberating destinations."
