Off the Rack: John Derian for Target Home Collection

Target has teamed up with New York-based designer John Derian for the second time to create an affordable line of home accessories. Sorry I'm just posting these now, I scouted out the collection about two weeks ago but haven't had a chance to post as I've been on vacation with limited internet access (as all good vacations should be). I didn't buy anything because I was focused on shopping for a few essential camping supplies such as facial cleansing wipes (love the Target brand with cucumber) and travel size toothpaste…but I digress.

The John Derian for Target collection "turns old world inspiration into modern home styles" with artsy yet functional items such as melanine plates, ceramic mugs, desk accessories, and home decor items priced under $25. I love the vintage feel, nature-inspired motifs (might have to go back for the ladybug, dragonfly and four-leaf clover cups), and faux-decoupage effect. The marbelized paper-look binder is charming, too. Check your local Target store or Target.com to see what's left before this collection disappears. Have you bought anything?

More real-life photos after the jump!

Wow, your Target has a GREAT selection of John Derian! Unfortunately, that's not the case near me (SF Bay Area). I've seen NONE of the trays or the bins, and only one style of the mug. Those tumblers are too cute, but I haven't seen those, either! Our store selection in our area has pretty much been limited to just the paper products.

I bought the bee hive box. I glanced it in the corner of my eye & did like a quadruple take! LoL. I just HAD to get. I'm in love with the whole collection - extremely high quality IMO!
