I actually like the F21 version, mainly because I like the lighter color. But I am sure the feel of it is not nearly as good.

I am in loooove with that sexy Matt & Nat clutch. But for a steal I think I might grab that F21 one. It'll perhaps match my new hinge tweed jacket I picked up at Nord Rack (just tweeted ya a pic) ;-) :-)

Um... not really sure about the two bags. However, I really like the Matt & Natt better than F21.

I prefer the Matt & Natt version, and I wonder if the Forever21 can say it's vegan?

Great point, I was wondering the same thing, that is, aren't all the faux leather/plastic shoes and bags we buy vegan?

I find it interesting that designer labels are now selling faux fur and pleather at the same price as their real counterparts. Those of us who have been scouring places like ebay and F21 have been buying the same thing for years at ridiculously low prices. It was also considered ignominious in some cases. I had a wonderfully soft pleather trench in high school and I still remember a few people's reaction after I told them it was fake (if you couldn't tell until you asked then why did it matter? Then again, it was high school - anything to ridicule I suppose) In this case they mention using recycled materials but I'd wager the manufacturing process used for a lot of these pieces involves even more chemicals! Seems a little disingenuous, especially if they are marketing it towards the 'green' trend.

I like them both, but I'll definitely stick with the Forever 21 alternative due to a $130 differential!
