Target's Next Designer Collab is Calypso St. Barth

The first collaboration announcement of 2011 is here! Target is teaming up with Calypso St. Barth for a limited-edition line of fashion and home items priced from $1.99 to $79.99 to launch May 1st.

Celebrity fans of Calypso St. Barth's no-fuss approach to boho chic style include Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Beckinsale.

It's hard to think about resort-wear when there's snow on the ground, but if I had to imagine which Calypso St. Barth designs I'd love to see translated for the budget market, they would include this fabulous pouf ottoman, these colorful bangles, and this breezy ikat dress.

Are you looking forward to this Target collaboration?

Definitely looking forward to this one. I enjoy structured pieces and think they're essential for a good wardrobe, at heart, I'm all about these flowing, airy pieces. Thanks for the heads up.

I want a dress to wear at the beach this summer. Doesn't look like they'll do too much in stretch terry but that won't stop me from checking the collection out!

YES! Finally, a designer collab I can get excited about. And I'm also thrilled that the Calypso line won't just cover fashion, but home decor as well.

That pouf is divine! I think I might be more excited about the home goods than the clothes for once...

Definitely looking forward to the collaboration. I love seeing designers making their collections more accessible. I would LOVE to see them include something like the pouf or the dress in the Target line...hoping this doesn't mean a return of the maxi dress, though. (It was great for some people, but at 5'4", it isn't exactly a style that I can pull off personally.)
