H&M Teams Up with Shoe Label Swedish Hasbeens

H&M is collaborating with cult shoe label Swedish Hasbeens to create a line of wooden-soled clogs inspired by the traditional Swedish styles of the '70s.

Available from April 20th in about 150 stores worldwide, the collection will feature three styles priced from $59.95 to $69.95.

There's a gladiator style strappy wedge, a heeled summer sandal with one ankle strap and a peep-toe slip-on wedge.

Celebrity fans of Swedish Hasbeens include Sarah Jessica Parker (seen here) and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

I have always wanted a pair of Swedish Hasbeens even though my personal style is nowhere near '70s bohemian. Authentic Hasbeens rarely go for less than $150 unless you stalk so the H&M collab may be your moment to strike.

Hanna Andersson sells clogs that are made in Sweden. There's a gladiator pair for women on their site currently ($74) as well as the modern clog shape in leopard print on sale for $25. You can find some on eBay as well. The designs kind of vary from year to year - fluctuating between cute and dowdy. I bought a metallic gold sandal type on sale one year that reminded me of kork-ease sandals with a wooden sole.

These look really amazing though, adorable summer shoes! Ah, summer...

Question about the former exclusive collection for H&M: Thanks!
Did you go to see Lanvin's collection for H&M?

Whether you bought a piece from the collection or not, your opinion interests me!

I'm doing a PhD on this subject and am very interested in what you have to say.
Here is the link to the Questionnaire

It will take no longer than 4 to 6 minutes and your help is very important for my study.

Thank you for completing this form!

Woo, I just saw this and am so excited! (The third one's very cool!) I'll definitely be buying a pair or two of these babies. Thanks for the update!
