Kelly Osbourne is the New Material Girl for Spring 2011

Kelly Osbourne is the New Material Girl for Spring 2011

Madonna and daughter Lola are back with Kelly Osbourne as their new celebrity muse for the Material Girl Spring 2011 collection, available at Macy's and macys.com. Photographed by fashion photographer Brooke Nipar, the campaign harkens back to Madonna's roots in New York City's East Village, and features a studio set inspired by the East Village of the 80s with chain link fences and historical images. Kelly is adorable and no doubt a lovely person in real life but this campaign is one big Photoshopped yawn. More pics after the jump...

I've loved Kelly O for quite some time. She's quite a beautiful girl and this makes me happy!

I love Kelly! She has really grown into a lovely young woman.

I personally think that Kelly looks great, and that it was smart of Madonna to hire a REAL person for these ads (with personality and curves) and not a size zero "dead behind the eyes" model. I'm still not so sure about the clothes themselves, but I'm a fan of this ad campaign.

Kelly herself looks fantastic — she's in great shape and super-cute — but the clothes are horrifying!

I love Kelly!!! I have always liked her, especally more now that she has grown into a lovely young lady...She really is beautiful even if she is not a size 0....So inspiring....The clothes, however, are ridiculous. I have seen them in person at Macy's and not only are they overpriced for what they are, but they just look tacky... This line is about 5 yrs too late...No more 80's influence, now it's all about the 70's! :-)

Absolutely adorable!!! Perfect to have Kelly model the line.. I would feel comfortable with my tween wearing the clothes, there are many ways to mix & match here.. good luck!!

I think Kelly Osbourne is a great representation of a "real person" but she has been Photoshopped beyond recognition in a few of these.

Not loving the clothes, but I am way out of the teen demographic that these were probably meant to appeal to anyway (which makes Kelly an odd choice, but I think she is fabulous).

I agree, you've said it much better than I did.
