ELLE for Kohl's Spring 2011 Lookbook

ELLE for Kohl's Spring 2011 Lookbook

So much attention has been paid to the LC Lauren Conrad collection that I've neglected to share the ELLE Spring 2011 lookbook, so without further ado, here it is! Full of feminine floral prints, pretty blouses, pops of color and must-have heels, the ELLE collection is a breath of fresh air. The ruffle coral heels are amazing for the price and such a perfect color in person. I wouldn't wear ELLE head to toe, but mixed with other pieces in your wardrobe, I think this affordable line can look so chic. Some of the tops and cardigans remind me of things you'd find at Anthropologie, but at a fraction of the price. Look for this collection in stores and online at now - most styles are already on sale! And don't forget to check out the ELLE Decor collection, too, my new "secret" source of stylish homegoods.

More fashion after the jump, let me know what you think.

I love that maxi skirt! I actually stopped into Khol's last Friday and tried it on. Very cute! It's definitely on my wish list.

I love that all the pieces are super wearable - to work or just out, but the lavender ruffled sweater looks a bit 'old' to me.

Also, I must be the only one but I really don't get the dark lipstick for spring? I thought spring was all about brights and neutrals...

A couple pieces are okay, but am I the only one underwhelmed by it?

Other than the one plus-sized girl, I also felt the models were just too thin for me to even relate.

I also find it jarring to see things like the Simply Vera line or the ELLE collection shown on models who are actually smaller than the smallest sizes offered. I'd love to see fuller figures so we can see how the clothes will really fit. In terms of the styles, I don't think there's anything groundbreaking but at the same time, it's stuff you can make your own and wear for more than one season.

I have my eye on the coral ruffle heels... and the beige ones too! They remind me of a pair of Aldo shoes that Olivia Palermo wore, but they are all sold out on :-( I can't wait to snatch those up!

here is a link to the picture of Olivia in Aldo:

I just bought the red-blue top but in pink; it's really cute but I am on the fence about keeping it. The cotton fabric feels like it will start to pill in two washes.

I already have the coral ruffle heels and love them! LOVE!! I just put them on in the house last night so that I could admire them again. :-) I can't wait until the weather warms up so that I can bring them out!

I love the the coat in the 2nd photo, the coral/pink is a beautiful color and the ruffle collar is a nice feminine touch. I tried to find it on the website but it wasn't there. Does anyone know where I can find it?

super cute in the pics, but super cheap looking in person. especially the dresses.

These pictures are creepy, I feel like they are photoshopped to a ridiculous degree. The red trench is cute but her legs look inhuman!
