White by Vera Wang for David's Bridal Fall 2011 Preview

Back in April, I had the magical experience of previewing the White by Vera Wang for David's Bridal Fall 2011 collection in New York City. With her Fall collection, Vera Wang presents seven new bridal gown styles, priced between $600-$1,200. Styles range from a romantic strapless ball gown with corded lace bodice and tossed tulle skirt to A-line, column and mermaid silhouettes for the classic modern bride. The Fall collection also marks the highly anticipated debut of seven bridesmaids dresses (all under $200) and shoes (under $100).

I think the collection does an amazing job of presenting Vera Wang's vision at such affordable pricepoints, with unique yet timeless styles that stay true to her signature design aesthetic. The bridesmaid collection is sophisticated and chic, with gorgeous colors like amethyst, blush, charcoal and moss to choose from. I think this collection will be a dream come true for many brides-to-be.

White by Vera Wang bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and accessories will be carried in 250 David's Bridal stores in North America, including two new Canadian locations. Bridesmaid gowns will be available in sizes ranging from 0-26, and bridal gowns will be available in sizes ranging from 0-14, with select styles available in sizes 16-26.

I think Vera's line for Kohl's is pretty hideous, but these are (for the most part) exceptionally lovely.

I agree with you. There are some cute pieces in her Kohl's line but more of it is hideous. I also think its overpriced and low quality.

Completely agree! And the Kohl's line runs HUGE, I've never bought anything from it but the shoes and jewelry, and even then I've been very selective about what I've bought. These dresses are fantastic though. I love that there are bridesmaid options too.

Very Pretty, I kind of like the spring line more though

I wish I was getting married, just so I could wear the dress - so sensational!

I absolutely love weddings, and I think these are great options for those brides that are on a budget. There are definitely some beautiful styles in this line...I'd like to try a few on! Too bad my wedding was 8 years ago :-)
