Simply Vera Vera Wang for Kohl's Fall 2011 Lookbook

The Simply Very Vera Wang for Kohl's fall 2011 look book is out, featuring 31 looks marked by graphic prints, rich textures and lots of layering. It's classic Simply Vera (we can say that now that the collection has been going strong since 2007): The tunics, the leggings (less than last season, thank goodness), the layers. And this season, we find these chic basics updated with modern elements of fur, chiffon, tulle and organza. In the past we've complained that the models do not mirror the customer but I guess the look book is styled for art's sake. Note that many of these looks are available in both petite and plus sizes. I didn't include detailed info on each item because there are so many pieces but leave a comment if you have any questions. Most items are available in September and range from $40 for a chiffon tank, $68 for a fur vest to $109 for sleek riding boots. I love the shoes - all of them!

I'm dying for those studded t-straps. DYING!

Question: have you seen anything about the boots below? It's another pair that's killing me, but I don't see them in the lookbook. Feeling paranoid!

Thanks for bringing those beauties to my attention! According to the lookbook, those are the Simply Vera Vera Wang "Olivia" shearling lined boots ($59.99), available in August....although I don't see them online, but they might be in stores. I really hope to find a pair, let's keep eachother posted haha!

The lookbook says they are ~$30 less than they are actually being sold for online. Bummer!

First, I'm so excited you found those online. Love! I've asked my contact at Kohl's if the lookbook was a typo, sorry for the confusion. At least the boots are already on sale for $85.99 but yeah, I was hoping they'd be a lot less...

So many great pieces here. Love the featured look (the boots are really great) plus the draped LBD, the navy jacket, the orange/red floral top, the blue sweater and the green/taupe top and pants combo to name a few. I love some the jewellry and the bags - are they part of the collection too, BB?

We like a lot of the same pieces. And yes, all the accessories - hats, jewelry and bags - are all part of the collection.

I was always pretty skeptical about Kohl's, mostly because I felt that some of their pieces were poorly made/did not fit my tall frame correctly. I can honestly say that I was suprised (in a good way) by Vera Wang's collection. Her pieces are effortlessly chic, well priced, made with care, and I can see it fitting lots of different body types. GO KOHLS.

This is a great looking collection! I almost never make it to Kohl's because it's a bit out of the way, but I'll make the effort for this collection.

P.S.: Vera, could you please use skinnier models for your Spring collection? Thanks! (end sarcasm)

After seeing the fall preview, I bought the faux fur vest in the first photo online. Great style but poor quality. - the faux fur is cheap modacrylic. I've never seen such awful stuff so it's going back.

Wondering if you could help...

For the Simply Vera Fall-Winter ad campaign (I saw it in Bazaar's Sept'11 issue), there are a pair of amazing tights on a seated, skirted model. They have diamond print -

They sort of resemble little baseball diamonds with thes home-plate colored in.

Do you have any idea of these will be for sale or if they were just part of the ad?

I don't see them in the accessories lookbook but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't have them, i'll keep an eye out for them (or something similar) - you might try the Eric Daman x DKNY hosiery line too.

Any idea what happened to the GREAT chunky rhinestone bib necklace that was featured in the Kohls Fall 2011 campaign? Didn't see it in the lookbook here but it may be hidden under a jacket.
