Yesterday I covered my first show for Dashing Diva, the pro nail divas who were creating the safari-themed looks at new-to-me designer Jad Ghandour for his Spring 2012 fashion week presentation. When I heard Ghandour would be featuring live tigers at his show (that's right, live tigers!) I knew the nails were going to be fierce - and they were.
The Dashing Diva team used a mocha creme polish called Flat Iron District, alternating with designFX nail strips in a leopard animal print for a bit of a pop.
DesignFX by Dashing Diva hasn't launched yet so you're getting a sneak peek before they drop. I watched the nail artists apply them and they're just like the Sally Hansen nail strips, just stick to a clean, dry nail, file off the end to shape and you're done!
A big thanks to Dashing Diva for inviting me backstage, I'll be hunting for those leopard nails to wear this fall and into next season.
