Timberland has a new line of ruggedly-stylish, eco-conscious boots called Earthkeepers, and recently I had the chance to put the Earthkeepers "Rudston" pull-on boots to the test courtesy of Glam. Made of rich black leather in a timeless silhouette, the "Rudston" is an undeniably cool boot that would feel at home in just about any girl's closet. The thick stacked heel and cushioned footbed makes them really comfortable - I've worn my pair for hours at a time without a hint of pain or discomfort. The wide shaft makes them easy to wear over jeans, or paired with leggings and a tunic.
What's even more attractive about the Earthkeepers collection is the company's commitment to making their products more eco-friendly by sourcing leather from greener tanneries and using recycled materials (like mesh linings crafted from recycled plastic bottles). On a practical note, I appreciate that these boots are completely waterproof and warm, yet breathable. As someone who does a lot of walking in all kinds of crazy New England weather, I'm looking forward to getting a lot of mileage out of these stylish boots this fall and beyond.
What I'm wearing: Old Navy dress and purse, Modern Vintage leather jacket, Earthkeepers boots
