Doo.Ri for Macy's Impulse

Doo-Ri Chung is the next designer to be tapped by Macy's for an upcoming collaboration to launch February 15th. Chung's collection will include her signature draped jersey, knitwear, and art-inspired prints on short- and maxi-length dresses, leggings, blouses, and trench coats, affordably priced from $39 to $159.

Chung is the fifth designer this year chosen to collaborate with Macy's, following in the footsteps of Kinder Aggugini, Matthew Williamson, Karl Lagerfeld and Giambattista Valli, whose collection of cocktail dresses will be available at Macy's next week.

Judging by the five sketches that have been released so far, I think this capsule should be interesting. Any Doo.Ri fans out there?

I loved the dress she designed for Michelle Obama. I'm interested to see how that red dress comes to fruition. Might have to add it to my closet!

I have never heard of the designer before but from the looks of the designs, I am looking forward to seeing the collection when it comes out at Macys! From the sound of the price range, I would definitely want to pick some of the stuff out since I have some Macy's gift cards I want to use up.

NO WAY. I actually haven't been very impressed with the other Macy's impulse collabs so far, but this one actually excites me.

I am in love with those sketches! Congrats & good luck to Doo.Ri. The design on the far right is definitely intriguing.
