As you may know, I've been taking part in a blogger challenge in conjunction with a new show on ABC Family called Jane by Design which actually premieres tonight at 9/8c! For our fifth style challenge, we were asked to take a plain white button down shirt and style it for a day at the office, then change the look up and show how we'd style the same shirt for a dressy cocktail party.
For my work look, I topped the white shirt with a LOFT sweater and added a strand of pearls and cross-body bag.
For night, I removed the sweater, added a statement necklace and tied the blouse to create a more defined waist. Additionally, I would add some red lipstick and a clutch to finish this party-ready look.
What do you think? How would YOU style a white shirt for day or night? Share your ideas on the Jane by Design Facebook page.
Also, if you'd like to help me win the competition (winner gets a mention on the show!) please drop a quick note on the Jane by Design Facebook page and tell them The Budget Babe sent you. Thanks so much!

Day/Work: I would tuck into a high waisted pencil skirt and accessorize with fish nets and close toe pumps.
Night/Out: I would wear it as a tunic, unbuttoned a little bit, pair with leather leggings and animal print booties. Accessorize with a ton of bangles and big earrings!
Fun, fun!
You are doing great with the challenges. Excited for you!
