Off the Rack: Princess Vera Wang for Kohl's Debut Collection

Prince Vera Wang for Kohl's Fall Press Preview

Here are some photos I snapped a couple months ago at the Princess Vera Wang for Kohl's Fall 2012 press preview in NYC, which showcased designer Vera Wang's new juniors line of apparel, shoes and accessories in stores now. The collection was grouped into a couple categories for the modern day "princess," be she preppy, punk or boho. I spied all the latest "trends," from neon and polka dots to print pants, statement necklaces and loafer flats. Many of the items you'll see in my photos are now available online and in stores and they're already on sale. Oh, Kohl's.

I'll be honest and say I'm a little disappointed by this line. To me the main Vera Wang line at Kohls focuses more on textures than crazy prints and I was hoping the junior line would be the same way, just smaller fitting (like how cute would a tulle skirt be? Or some elastic waist deco belts?). While there are a couple pieces I'm interested in (maroon jacket and whatever that dipped dyed faux fur piece is), a lot of it I feel isn't really that unique to what you could find at many other juniors stores. :-/

@Nicole I'd have to agree. This line looks like it could have been designed by anyone. Would anyone honestly look at this and say, "That's a Vera Wang design"?
