Eco-Friendly Friday: SnapSac Limited Edition Totes for Fall

Los-Angeles based SnapSac, makers of stylish reusable bags, is dropping two new limited-edition styles for fall: 'Sarika Petite Pop' boasts a soft gray accented by a red diamond print, while 'Sarika Petite Netural' features a teal-toned blue shade with light blue zigzag pattern. Each bag snaps shut, folds and packs flat, and includes an inside pocket to store smaller loose items. Like the rest of the line, the two Sarika Collection totes are designed to be 35% thicker than the average reusable bag.

I see a lot of reusable bags come across my desk and I must say these have to be among the cutest, chicest styles around, reminiscent of the Longchamp Le Pliage. In case you're wondering where SnapSacs are made, I asked, and was told SnapSac bags are made responsibly in China, in factories monitored by Verite, an award-winning nonprofit organization dedicated to fair working conditions.

Available August 1, the SnapSac Sarika collection will retail online at www.snapsac.com for $4.99 each. Lots more fun styles to browse, so be sure to check them out.

Those would also be great for taking as an extra bag on vacation or to the beach (I've found that most reusable bags are machine washable and repel sand). The patterns and price are fantastic!
