Come with Me to the LULU by Lulu Guinness for JCPenney Launch Party

Last night I was invited to celebrate the launch of the LULU by Lulu Guinness for JCPenney collection at a dinner in NYC hosted by the designer, Lulu Guinness, who flew in from across the pond for the occasion. Guests got to mingle amidst the British-invasion themed decor, dine on hearty English fare (I had a beef and oyster pot pie, first and possibly last time!) and preview the collection.

LULU by Lulu Guinness includes a fabulous array of clutches, satchels, tote bags and more featuring the famed accessory designer's signature colors, prints and designs: Think black and white polka dots, big bows, bulldogs and hot pink quilting. Lulu has also designed a line of bright bags in pop colors like yellow, aqua and green that are absolutely perfect for spring.

My favorite bags included a black bag with an oversized bow (looks like real leather), all the polka-dot clutches (so cheeky), and a turquoise crossbody with perforated polka-dot detailing. Look for the LULU by Lulu Guinness line to launch at JCPenney stores and jcp.com beginning February 25th, ranging in price from just $25-$65 (for the large weekender bags).

Keep reading for more photos I snapped at the event. See any bags you can't live without?

I was hoping for real leather. Seeing as faux leather looks terrible after heavy usage. Oh well, the line is super adorable and not too pricey either!

This is such a cute collection, glad to see Jcp will still be carrying this line (I was afraid it may have been a 1-time only thing). So many cute new bags, excited to see everything in person!
