Naomi Watts in Issa London wrap dress for Banana Republic

The limited-edition Issa London for Banana Republic collection launched today, including a version of the blue wrap dress that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore to announce her royal engagement (here). The BR version seems to be more of a teal blue color rather than a royal blue hue which is kinda disappointing, but the $130 price tag is certainly more palatable than the $575 cost of the original dress.

Also available for Issa fans - or just fans of classic wrap dresses in general - is the printed frock seen on Naomi Watts (above), who paired hers with yellow sandals and a tan bag. This shows just how versatile a dress like this can be as you can easily transition it from summer to fall to winter with just a few accessory changes, different shoes and tights.

Shop Issa London for Banana Republic online or in select stores. P.S. Banana Republic cardholders can get 25% off the Issa collection with code BRISSA.
Love Issa London.

I'm actually relieved the dress is more of a teal than a royal blue! The royal is a lovely color, but I'd worry that walking around in such an exact copy of the famous dress people would think I was just a big Kate wannabe.

I love this printed wrap dress, but I'm not so much in love with the wedges she's paired it with. Looking forward to fall, I think this dress would look so chic with these "Chelsie" boots from CL by Laundry.

Unfortunately, the print version of this dress (as worn by Naomi) was already sold out in all sizes except XL on BR's website by yesterday afternoon :-(
