I was very excited to represent Budget Babe at the Chinese Laundry spring '14 preview held last week in NYC. I was blown away by both the items I saw and of course the affordable prices! This coming spring, expect a lot of neon, ankle straps, and prints. Highlights for me included the D'Orsay Easy Does It flats - which are coming out in a variety of new colors and patterns - a quintessential nude pump featured in the Miss Universe pageant, and a tan bandage-style ankle boot. Kristin Cavallari By Chinese Laundry
Kristin Cavallari’s shoe collection was by far my favorite at the preview. Unfortunately because Chinese Laundry is in the midst of deciding which shoes will be featured this spring, I was not permitted to take photos. With that, here are some shoes I saw at the preview which are readily available online here.
Flaunting her black suede Copertina heels at the 24th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards, you can see Kristin’s geometric-cut signature in the topline of her shoe. The cutout is asymmetric, rigid, and cool.
