The Look for Less: Honest Company

Hi there budget babes! I’m Annette Vartanian from A Vintage Splendor, and in my new weekly column for The Budget Babe, I will be bringing you the chicest home décor products and ideas, without breaking the bank. We all lust after the pristine interiors that grace the pages of magazines; I’ll bring you the best products to achieve that fabulous look and how-to tips for an achievable style. This week, I’m diving into one of the chicest spaces in Los Angeles.

Jessica Alba has chic covered, from her wardrobe to her tots; even her eco-friendly line Honest Company’s offices boast Alba’s unique style. At first glance, the reception area looks like the inviting living room of a mid-century modern home, adorned with one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. But, it is where business happens for the thriving company. This room is all about functionality, comfort and fashion.

The best part? You can recreate the look for your living room with some key pieces.
The cool blue hues make a striking impact, so if you’re on a very tight budget stick with a painted accent wall or make an investment in a turquoise sofa. The gold, white, and Lucite accents are also affordable pieces that you can layer into the room. Start with a decorative mirror and lamps and then add on miniature vases and pillows to finish the look.

Hi Megan. The lamp is from Lamps Plus. Here's the link: http://www.lampsplus.com/products/steel-droplet-table-lamp-with-cylinder-shade__v4325.html

The console table is $379, not $179… :-(

So sorry about that. I confused the price of the console with another item. Here is a steel and glass console for $180), which can give you the same streamlined modern look for less. http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Euro-Style-Sandor-Console-Table/7183824/product.html?refccid=7LAHM7H7NJD2YCKKBR6CRLUYAI&searchidx=31
