Pastels always feel right for spring, from your clothes to your fingertips. This season, icy pastels like blues, mints and really pale pinks were all over the runways. Inspired by this trend and the latest nail colors from Sally Hansen, I created a chic & easy icy pastel polka-dot manicure using Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in Blue Away and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Gilty Party (get both at Target!). Keep reading for the how-to...

Prep nails for a manicure with these Sally Hansen tools!

First, prep your tips: Start by clipping nails to a uniform length using Sally Hansen Clean Cut Classic Nail Clipper. Shape using your Sally Hansen nail file (I love the fun floral print on mine) then clean your edges with the buffer block. You can find all these salon-quality tools at Target!

Step 1: Paint your nails with two coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in Blue Away.

Step 2: Pour a few drops of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Gilty Party onto a thick piece of paper or cardboard.

Step 3: Dip your dotting tool (or the round end of a bobby pin) into the silver polish.

Step 4: Create your spots!
