Whether you’re hitting the beach or the pool, a hat is a summer must-have. Not only does it protect your face from sun (goodbye wrinkles!) but it also makes a major fashion statement. For a boho vibe, I’m a huge fan of the floppy hat.
Old Navy has a great floppy hat for only $22.94! Unlike many styles I’ve seen it’s just the right amount of oversize: not too big, not too small. I’ve been wearing mine with sundresses and maxis.
The hat comes in two colors, but I suggest sticking with the classic natural tone. It’s incredibly lightweight and even has a sweatband built in for extra humid days.
Another great thing about a classic straw hat? You can do temporary DIYs to switch up the style. One weekend tie a stripe ribbon around the hat or pin a flower onto the straw on your beach vacation. The possibilities are endless!
