Fashion Week kicks off today in New York (I’ll be posting live updates on my Instagram: @sydnesummer). Dressing for the stylish event is always stressful—and even more so when it’s 20 degrees outside! So I’m constantly looking for accessories that will keep me warm while still looking glam.
While I was in the city last week, I popped into H&M and found this fab furry jacket. Luckily faux fur has been on trend for a while now. So there are so many synthetic options that looks just as chic as the real thing. Plus, a lot of them are on sale right now, which makes them even bigger deals. This similar black H&M one is only $17!
A cropped style is great to wear over dresses while a longer style looks trés cool over skinny jeans or leather pants. The best thing to remember is not to take this trend seriously. While faux fur certainly has a glam factor, it should also be playful. So go wild with a dark purple shag like me, a winter white or even a leopard print!
