We’ve talked about cross-body bags before in this column. I think the ease of a hands-free accessory is especially great during warmer months when you’re walking outside. While there are many different floral options, I prefer a faux leather. It looks more expensive than canvas and cost half the price of the real thing.



Another thing to look for is hardware. I especially like the gold chain on this Dolce Girl bag (now on sale for only $33.60 at kohls.com). It comes in a convertible satchel style too ($47.60), which is great if you’re in the market for a bigger bag.

While, of course, you can pair the print with solids, I like mixing prints! The easiest way is with a color pattern and black and white. Another part I like about these bags? The black leather means you can wear it into Fall. Talk about getting a bang for your buck!
