Found: Jessica Simpson Gold Gladiators

I adore The Sartorialist. I just haven't mentioned him before because I figured that if I did, you'd never have a reason to come back to my blog. And while that might still be the case, I absolutely couldn't go another day without mentioning the stellar photograph you see above. The outfit is by no means perfect, but I was immensely proud of myself for recognizing the gold sandals on this stylish gal's feet (drum roll please): The Jessica Simpson 'Zahara' Gladiator. Don't pretend like you don't get giddy, too, when you spot a familiar designer on The Sartorialist (or elsewhere in the blogosphere). There's this little rush you get - a mini fashion buzz - when you can say to yourself, "I've seen those! I know who the designer is! I know what she's wearing!" Am I making any sense at all? P.S. This is my last post on gold gladiators, I promise.

I tried these on at nordstrom in black and the ankle strap was just waaaaaay too loose, since they are a zip up and not adjustable. maybe it was just the wrong size? I can't be sure since they didn't have the next size down (all sold out) but they did look cute!

You don't need to stop talking about gold gladiators, or gladiators in general on my account. I'm really liking this whole gladiator thing. Oh, and I followed the link and they're all sold out. How do you make a pouting emoticon?

wow! that was fast...maybe wait for them to go on sale at Dillard's, Shoebuy, or Endless?

Glad you like gladiators, so far I have 3 pairs and I'm tempted to buy more!

Also tried them on in Nordstrom, they were not comfy to walk in!

au contraire. i bought them a couple of weeks ago and love them. ok i wouldn't wear them for a 3 mile hike, but for going out or just moderate walking they're fine. jessica's ballet flats are fabulously comfortable though. i like the fact that they zip in back - i'm sick of buckling straps.
even my husband who's rather conservative in his tastes says these gold numbers are cute.
