Jump for Joy for June Fabletics

Fabletics June Review / TheBudgetBabe.com
And we're back with another fitness fashion review! Just because beach body season is underway doesn't mean that's an excuse to derail from your active lifestyle. Whether you hike, bike, run, lift, or yoga-it-up in the sun, pick up some new Fabletics gear to motivate you to maintain your figure! Here are some great picks to consider which I received courtesy of Fabletics and had the chance to put to the test:

Sol Tank $40
This tank is my favorite one that I’ve tried from Fabletics to date, besides their basic Aventura racerback. I say this even though there are two things I wish were different. One, the neckline is just slightly higher than I’d like and it made for a pretty snug fit around my neck. I tugged at it a bit to keep it from riding up the back of my neck, but it was not annoying enough to be a complete deal-breaker. As far as price, I understand that the Sol is a bit more intricate than some of their other options, but Fabletics is supposed to be an affordable line and this doesn’t feel like it’s worth $40. Lululemon, Nike, and others retail at a similar price tag for their tops. If it weren’t for this, I would probably order more in other colors.

Fiji Tight $30
Mesh leggings are blowing up the fitness fashion world right now, but Fabletics has found their own little spin on legging exposures with the Fiji Capri! These differ from other Fabletics capris in the way that they do not have seams, and the material is much more compressing than the fabric you would find with their Salar, Sydney, or Camacan capris. The Fiji also doesn’t have a defined waistband like those mentioned. The description says light compression, but I ordered in my usual size small and maybe it’s just me, but light should actually say “major.” When they aren’t on your body, they look WAY small, but fortunately they have a lot of give to them. I think I could have gone up a size and still been happy with a little less squeeze. Either way, these are extremely slimming and easy to move in! I have received a lot of compliments on these – ladies seem to LOVE the open braid detail as much as I do! And the opening stops just before it could reach the point of awkwardly high up the side of your leg and you might as well be wearing fishnets. Okay exaggeration, but still…it’s the gym, people…let’s not get too carried away!

The white bra that I am wearing is no longer available on the site, but similar alternatives include the Juneau Bra ($16) and Doon Sports Bra ($20).

Hope you ladies are enjoying a lively but relaxing start to the summer months – feedback is always welcome! Are you enjoying our fitness reviews? What more would you like to see from us? Comment below!

Love the open back and "shredded" running pants. So cute!

These items look great on you and I appreciate that you offer both pros and cons to the pieces. I keep wanting to make the plunge with Fabletics but they are often sold out of the my size which is so frustrating!

Meg,

The way Fabletics works is you have to order the first week of the month. All the sizes of the items became available on the first and start to sell out by the end of the first week of the month for the really cute stuff. They rotate into a whole new line the next month. You should totally get on board. I love them!

The white bra they sent you comes with the red stank so both pieces combined are $40. That is why the white bra is not listed separately on the website, and is actually still in stock. Since they sent you the items free you may not have realized that that the Sol tank is a 2 for 1. I was thinking of ordering it myself simply because I want that white bra. Anyway, glad you reviewed it...I actually really like high necks to prevent sun on my chest so your review may have pushed me over the top. You may also want to edit you post to be more accurate about the bra and price portion. Just think of it as $25 for the tank and $15 for the bra.
