Tell all your friends (or keep this fashion secret to yourself): Renowned NYC designer Nicole Miller is celebrating 10 years of partnership at JCPenney with a limited-edition collection that's run-to-your-nearest store good. Talk about longevity, especially in the world of designer collabs and budget fashion! Back in April I got to see the collection first hand at a press preview and I was so impressed by the quality and style of many of the pieces, priced from $38-$120, which feature elevated fabrics and luxury embellishments such as intricate beading and faux fur you won't find in a typical collection.
For example, the feather trim top and skirt ($39.99 each, jcp.com) is elegant yet playful (fancy enough for a wedding) or the matching sweater and skirt set ($24.99-$29.99) that I could see many fashion bloggers rocking - it beautifully shows off Miller's signature style of using eclectic prints - and you'd never guess it's from JCPenney (meant as a compliment of course). The faux leather bomber jacket looks unbelievably good (see my in-real-life photo down below) for just $59.99, while the quilted puffer coat looks like Mackage at a fraction of the price (check local store for availability).
Check out more of the collection now at jcp.com - including city jackets, pencil skirts, ankle pants, leggings, intarsia sweaters and sheath dresses retailing from $38 to $120. Look for the line in stores beginning September 4th.
