Earlier this week I visited Target to see if the new A+ by Aldo collection had made its debut yet, but sadly it had not. I've seen some pics on Instagram of the bags cropping up at other stores in other parts of the country but no luck in my area just yet. If you've seen the new Aldo shoes or bags, let me know, I'm dying to see them in real life! If you're as excited as me and can't wait to get your hands on some A+, you can shop a few styles online on sale (buy one get one half off!!)...but I'm waiting to try stuff on. I'm in love with the navy Emery boots and this Mulberry-inspired bag...drool.
Until Aldo arrives, we can console ourselves with some other new arrivals from Merona, Mossimo and Sam & Libby. If I were to buy a new pair of ankle boots it would have to be these chic and versatile Denise wedge booties. I tried on the Eliza leopard booties but for $45, they're not quite right. The hunt for leopard booties continues. Maybe this pair at Old Navy?
In the clothing department I noticed a cool faux-suede shift dress that's very on-trend for fall and some new burgundy pieces with leather accents. In the handbag section I was loving all the Merona Timeless Collection bags. I bought the burgundy bag you'll see below (can't find it online) but I'm not sure if I'll keep it yet as it was $45 and I paid full price. Who does that?! I also bought a black wool hat because clearly the gray one I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale isn't enough. Once again I may return it because I paid full price. Impulse buy. My excuse is that we were just trying to find some relief from the heatwave in our area (thermometer on my dash said 97!)
