Have you ever ordered anything from Le3no? Is this a reputable sight? I am loving the coat.

I personally have not, and I'm on an ongoing mission to test and review a lot of these newer fast fashion sites to see if they're legit. We'll give them a try and report back!

I wrote and received no reply to inform those behind this column that I ordered from Lulu in China following one of your posts. I received an item that was literally made of paper and was not a woman's size medium but was, perhaps, little girl sized and in no way wearable even by a child as the construction of the 'dress' made no sense.

Hi Sherry,

I replied to your comment shortly after you posted it, please see my response here:

I'm also not sure which Lulu you are referring to...? Can you provide a link? Lulu's (lulus.com) is actually a very reputable site that consistently gets good reviews from customers.

As for LE3NO, I took the plunge and ordered some items from their site this morning so please check back for my review!

Thanks,
Dianna aka The Budget Babe

Thank you so much for directing me to your reply as I'd never seen it.

MOST importantly, it caused me to check my records, providing me with this opportunity to correct my link... It was not LuLu! If a LuLu exists, I do apologize! It was LucLuc and the item was called 'white swan embroidered sleeveless dress."

On July 12th, I wisely purchased it through Paypal using their service whereby the merchant is not paid until you have received and approved of the item. Since postage for the return of the item was more costly than the "dress", I disputed the charge aggressively and Paypal finally decided in my favor.

I am still in disbelief that they sent a poor rendition of what was presented in their catalog and made literally of paper and in a laughable child's size.

Having just searched extensively, I located the original article from July 12th's The Budget Babe and I owe YOU an apology as the piece was written by Lauren Swanson. See the dress under FRIDAY at:

Apologies all around! I am eager to know of any information you may have regarding this vendor.

Regards.....

No need to apologize, Sherry! It's hard to keep track of these things sometimes! Thanks for explaining in detail, it's all so fascinating and difficult to keep up with all the fast-fashion stores cropping up online. Coupled with the fact that so many fashion bloggers seem to wear product from these sites, it's tough as a consumer to know who to trust. As a team here at The Budget Babe, we strive to only showcase products from vendors we personally shop and trust, so I apologize that the swan dress was less than satisfactory (I don't blame you for ordering it, though, it definitely looked so good in photos!) Also as a side note, I like to check sites on scamadvisor.com before ordering, and LucLuc.com does receive a questionable rating: http://www.scamadviser.com/is-lucluc.com-a-fake-site.html

Again, thank you so much for taking time to report back on the dress, your experience is invaluable and your feedback helps us present the best possible content moving forward. I learn so much from readers/fellow shoppers over the years and continue to do so.

Several LE3NO items are reviewed on Amazon.com and elsewhere by consumers, a great many of whom have reported drastic sizing issues and other problems.

Thanks Sherry!

I will make note not to use the website in further recreations. Also about your comment on Lulu in China? I'm unsure what you are referring to. I'd love to hear back from you so we can address the issue!
