I popped into Payless yesterday to exchange some shoes I had purchased online only to discover dozens more pairs I want for spring. It happens! As I browsed the racks, I found myself imagining different shoes on different fashion bloggers...Sydne loves yellow so I could see her rocking these 'Gianna' D'Orsay flats (or these yellow strappy heels), while Grace from The Stripe would make these block heels look like a million bucks. And I could see Alyson staying stylish on the go in these ikat print espadrilles. Am I the only one who does this...? I am? Alrighty then...
So here's what I bought: From my Instagram you may have seen that I picked up these ghillie flats during a recent BOGO sale that had free shipping plus I used a 20% off coupon that I got by signing up for their email list thingy. I'm happy to report the flats are so comfy; I'm thinking of getting them in beige, too. I got a size 10. I'm normally a 9.5.
I also purchased the 'Kailey' ankle strap sandal in a size 10 but it was way too big so I ended up getting a 9 which fits perfectly. These are so hot and go with everything! A great Steve Madden 'Stecy' dupe, too. A reader pointed out to me that online, these shoes say "wide width" but mine are definitely regular width so check your store for availability.
Shown above: 'Quill' slide sandal, $12.99 (also in white) // 'Kailey' ankle strap sandal, $19.99 (available in 6 colors, Steve Madden 'Stecy' dupe lookalike)
The practical side of me also picked up the 'Quill' slide sandal which I'll live in all summer. I succumbed to the slide sandal trend last summer and loved it, so I was in the market for a new pair (last year I got coral suede ones by DV and they're pretty much ruined...what was I thinking?!). I'm looking for a brown pair, too, if anyone has leads please let me know!
Payless is stepping up their bag game, too. The 'Alexa' crossbody is super cute in person...reminds me of this Ash 'Clover' saddle bag.
There are too many cute pairs to mention so just check out my pics, and let me know if you have questions about any of the styles. See anything you love?
P.S. Full disclosure, I am a contributing writer for the Payless Sole Style blog...but this is not a sponsored post; I shop at Payless anyways and was not compensated for writing this. And since we're on the topic, I'd love it if you checked out my latest post on midseason shoe picks to shop now!
These fringe sandals are so cute for little girls!
And they even have cute socks! Who knew.
