Botkier for Target Handbags Hit Target

Botkier handbags for Target hit stores today (run, there's still time to check them out!). OK, so we haven't seen them in person yet but the offerings online look pretty amazing. There will always be the haters who say they're not real leather, the craftsmanship isn't there, yadda yadda, but let's keep things in perspective, shall we? These purses are extraordinarily affordable. They were designed, at least in part, by a real designer with talent. They look expensive, and they cost a fraction of the price of the authentic designer originals which honestly, who really buys that stuff anyways? 1% of the population? Who cares? All a girl wants is a cute purse to hold her cell, lip gloss and wallet. We're not asking for the Sistine Chapel. Finally, before I descend my soapbox, let me remind you that Botkier for Target purses are just as good as their competition, namely, Steven Madden or Guess purses which cost 2 or 3 times more for purses that are no better in quality, taste or style. In fact, they probably all come from the same factory in Asia. What I'm trying to say is these purses are stylish and cheap, so check them out and tell me what you think.

i've seen them and they're cute and a good buy for the money. i prefer the larger ones for 39.99, a joke compared to the leather ones at nordstrom and macy's for 3-400$. face it, how many of you wear these bags more than one season b4 they go into a plastic storage container or the salvation army or a younger sister? 40 bucks is a good 'investment' for something you can pack the kitchen sink in, carry all your clothes, notebooks, not have to worry if it gets wet or beat up from wear and tear. they're stylish, fun, and the colors are good for fall.

I love this post! It's hilarious. Also, I am buying one in every color. They are hot and I can't wait for them to arrive!

Today after work I ventured to my local Target hoping to find a brand spanking new display of the Botkier for Target handbag collection. To my dismay, the handbag section was prominently displaying the Gryson for Target (a HUGE disappointment, in my opinion) clearance. I then proceeded to ask a store associate if the store would be carrying the Botkier collection. She looked at me, dumbfounded, and said she had no idea what I was talking about. ::sigh:: I suppose I'll have to settle for an online order. I'm dying to get my hands on a gray python clutch! I also like the fuchsia pink hobo - Can anyone tell me if the color in person is true to the color shown online? That would be fabulous!

I keep thinking to myself, when are metallics going to go away, especially in handbag. I'm not crazy about the design or the material, I've seen this "look" in handbags over the past 3 years and its wearing on me.

I also prefer the long lasting fashion handbag - and never choose any metallics color. I have brought one last time and only wear it one time only because the fashion change already.
