1. Turn Back Time Blush Lace Two-Piece Dress ($62, LULUS.COM)
Something that I’ve always loved is a two-piece dress. The idea of it is really young and sexy. However, because you are going to a wedding you may not want to get too sexy. The cap sleeve, skirt length, and long top to cover the mid drift make the dress appropriate and a little sexy while still leaving something to the imagination. You can’t outshine the bride on her big day but you can outshine the other guests in this Lulu's two-piece.
Complete the look with a suede chunky heel and a choker necklace to add some edge.
2. Asymmetrical Chiffon Slip Dress in Berry ($59.90, express.com)
This flowy wine colored dress is perfect for getting down on the dance floor and hiding your food baby after the bride and groom cut the cake. And the chiffon fabric is a breezy pick for outdoor weddings, too. The dress itself is very romantic, eye catching, and modelesque. Not to mention the color...bordeaux, burgundy, wine, and marsala are all runway color trends for 2016 and 2017! Style yourself with dewy makeup for a fresh-off-the-runway look.
3. Garden Party Dress by Allison Joy ($88, evereve.com)
I love this dress so much which is strange considering I always say, "I'll never wear orange." However, the color works! It's so bold, bright, and happy. It's a little bit casual for a wedding but the lace adds a dressy aspect. To make it more dressy, add nude wedges and a statement necklace to amp up the look (see photos of this on the evereve dress link).
4. Printed Bardot Off The Shoulder Hitchcock Midi Pencil Dress ($98, ASOS.com)
Off-the-shoulder is huge for this summer (see my post on 12 off-the-shoulder-tops for under $30). This dress would be perfect for a black tie wedding. The length and cut of the dress is classic and the pattern is chic. Because the pattern is so bright and vibrant, and because I'm totally obsessed with lipstick, add a matte lip color by Kylie Cosmetics to balance out the loud colors in the print.
