Yesterday you guys sent me on a shopping mission to Target (those are screenshots from my Instagram Story above), and at first I wasn't feelin' it but when I looked closer, I found a lot to love for spring! I tried to reign in my enthusiasm and focused on some key pieces you can add to your existing wardrobe to make everything look fresh again.
First make sure you have all the basics: Soft tees (I recommend getting one striped, one white, one blush pink and one camo print), a great denim jacket, some white denim (not the easiest thing to find but Target has great options in store), and a pretty dress that can take you from day to night. Then add something trendy like an off-the-shoulder top, a pair of tassel earrings (this pair looked great IRL), some studded gladiator sandals, or a cold-shoulder dress to keep things interesting.
Also, right now when you spend $75, save $15 online only at target.com! I've noticed Target has a lot more options online than in store, so definitely take a look if you haven't already. Keep reading to see my dressing room favorites and some notes on sizing and quality. What are you guys loving/buying/wanting at Target this month?

Blush pink is the new neutral, so I started with this basic blush tee (appears more pink in person, which I like), size M (I usually size up to a Large because t-shirts tend to shrink a lot in the wash), then added Camo Jeggings (I'm heavily influenced by Pinterest and Instagram), size 4 TTS, and finished with some Cutout Booties, size 9.5 TTS for a casual, everyday look. I feel like all this look needs is a designer bag (Chloe or Gucci) to be fashion blogger material

Awesome utility vest, size S TTS // White Crop High-Rise Jeggings (can't find these on Target.com). Size 4, TTS in the waist, about two inches too short for my 5'8" frame. These were not see through as far as I could tell! Passed the bending over test LOL

Close up of the utility vest. Such a great 4-season layering piece / wardrobe essential

Love this soft Mossimo denim jacket with light distressing. Size M, TTS

Amazing bomber jacket if you're looking to try the trend under $40

This bomber jacket features a vivid orange lining (which I shared on my Instagram Stories! Love the video option for sharing details like that.)

This camo tee is so good! Just $12.99. I'm wearing size L. Love how it's longer in back and super soft but not tissue paper thin. Very versatile for all seasons and very on-trend this spring.

Another styling idea...

Love this feminine top in a pretty yellow floral print! Hides mommy pouch and is just all-around flattering. Wear with a cardigan or blazer for work, or with jeans or denim skirt for the weekend.

Looks great styled with this Merona Denim Jacket, super soft yet structured. Size M, TTS. On Target.com, they styled the yellow top with a lightwash denim jacket, white jeans, and cognac/tan ballet flats - super cute.

Close up of the jean jacket. Really tempted to buy this one even though I already have two jean jackets.

Plaid shirt dress in gingham looks right for spring.

This printed crepe shift isn't 100% my style per se but it's a really nice dress, lovely fabric, hides any "flaws" yet still flirty and flattering. Just $25!! Also comes in 4 solid colors. Love the neckline. Nice for work or the weekend and any spring occasion like a shower or Easter. Looks like something you'd pay triple the price for at Loft, J.Crew or Ann Taylor.

I'm obsessed with how pretty and sexy the cold-shoulder can make you feel! This dress is by Knox Rose, the boho "Free People" look for less brand. Comes in other pretty colors.

Note how these Dillon booties go with just about everything! Makes them a great purchase. Plus these are a Jeffrey Campbell dupe (featured in this previous post). Also love the idea of wearing stripes with camo.

Valentino inspired 'Gertie' sandal, also comes in a block heel version the 'Becky'.

Shop the exact pieces shown in this post: (I didn't include the white jeans because I couldn't find the exact pair online)
BTW I mentioned this on Instagram but the shirt dress is a very soft fluid fabric, but not very thick. It doesn't cling but doesn't provide a ton of structure or coverage either. I'd probably feel more comfortable wearing it with tights. Then again when the weather warms up I'm less self conscious so I might not mind it!
Hope you like your picks!
