It's been a hot minute since my last weekend link round-up, so let's get to it! I included some reader Q&A plus your best tips from the past week, too. And of course, 4th of July sales...enjoy!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts July 12 for cardmembers! If you don't have a card yet, you should definitely get one - or get their debit card for similar benefits! I was a debit card girl for most of my 20s and I credit that with helping me keep my finances in check. If you can't pay off your credit card balance in full each month, rethink the need to use one, that's my philosophy. But I digress...
I've been sharing lots of my new favorite products at Aldi now that a new store just opened close by us. One thing we love is their organic whole bean coffee! My husband is a coffee snob and makes pour-over every morning, which led to a slew of questions about his process and the equipment he uses - so I've rounded up the exact items here. It's a little labor intensive but so worth it:
If you find yourself constantly reheating your coffee (which seems like such a shame especially if you go through the whole cold-brew process outlined above), get yourself a Yeti - keeps drinks hot for hours!
Try Walmart if you're looking for a stylish, affordable swimsuit that provides a little coverage, too. I've heard really good things although I've yet to buy one myself! This one by Time and Tru is just $10. Comes in lots of colors.
Lots of questions about my backpack. I love carrying a faux leather backpack instead of a diaper bag. Mine is from Sole Society, but this one at Target looks similar.
This sandal style is the most comfortable in my experience. I have a similar pair by Merona from Target and I can walk for days in them without pain.
